Random photo..
I was over at Sydney Uni the other day taking photos for the Street Style section of Side Street Sydney. While I was there I also took some photos of the buildings and the beautiful courtyards. When going through the photos on my laptop later that day, I noticed this girl who accidentally ended up in one of the photos, so I blew the photo up and cropped it. I don't know who the girl is (and I hope she doesnt mind me putting this up) but I just love something about this picture...

Roots & Wings Design
every now and again it's nice to get out of Sydney… On this particular Saturday morning we were headed for Berry, a town about 2 hours south of Sydney that also happens to be the definition of cute. We were walking down the main street discussing our recent lack of excitement over shopping in Sydney… when we stumbled upon Roots & Wings. You know those shops that you would describe as a ‘shopping experience’? The ones that have a certain vibe that just makes you want to spend hours in them? Well, Roots & Wings was one of those shops. As we walked in, I felt an instant unexplainable urge to try on EVERYTHING! And what I couldn’t try on, I wanted to touch, sit on, open, or at least take a photo of… :)

It’s always nice to see and celebrate the results of your hard work… It’s even nicer to celebrate them in style and in good company. Last night Fatboye Group did exactly that. Their Industry Launch party at DeNom attracted a huge crowd. Friends, followers, designers and members on the industry joined Kristina, Jane and Nikki in celebrating the success of the Fatboye Group so far, and marked the official beginning of what will hopefully be a long and exciting partnership.

You know how sometimes those random impromptu nights out can turn out to be the best ones? Well, last night’s GAS Jeans launch party was just that. It was one of those crappy rainy days when all you want to do is curl up on the couch and watch DVDs. As I half-heartedly dragged myself to The Commons after work my expectations of the night were pretty low. To my surprise both the venue and the night turned out better than I expected. Just like the label’s fashion the evening was both relaxed and effortlessly cool.
